Contest secrets are as follows:
Proxy all the way! As winners will be chosen based on computerized randomization a.k.a. lucky draw, every entry you send can potentially win. However, terms stated that “Each winner is entitled to only one prize in Weekly Draw and/or Grand Draw”. The only way for you to win more prizes is to use proxies. That’s by getting your family members and friends to help send the receipts using their own personal details through their own phone.
Stick to RM18 per receipt. Even though you can have multiple entries for every RM18 spent in a single receipt (e.g. RM 36.00 = 2 submission), you will want your purchase to be just slightly above RM18 so that you can have more receipts for your proxies.
Check Yeo’s FB page weekly. Weekly winners will be announced on Yeo’s FB page on a weekly basis. This will help you to decide whether you should continue to send entries using your name or your proxy’s, since you can only win the weekly prize once.
Join early to have better chances with the weekly prizes! This contest just started and you have the first-mover advantage. Join when few people know about it and you might find it easier to win with less competition. Waiting till a week or two before CNY will be extremely difficult to win.
Last but not least, I would like to share with my Malay and Indian friends here that even though this is a Chinese New Year (CNY) contest, I’ve seen many non-Chinese winners in past Yeo’s CNY contest. So, don’t shy away, give it a shot today!
