The contest secrets are as follows:

Send in one entry and forget you ever joined the contest. Winners will be selected randomly using a computer programme. This is indeed a lucky draw and one entry is technically enough for you to win the Lamborghini. However, winning will be extremely difficult mainly due to the reason that this contest is open to foreigners as well. If you look at actor in the advertisement, you will probably realise this contest is a honey trap to lure foreigners to spend at our airports. No expectation equals no disappointments.

Use your Mastercard for purchase (if you have one). Paying with Mastercard will double your entry. If you don’t have a Mastercard, don’t worry. The impact on your winning chances is pretty insignificant.

Join via official contest website. If you join using the physical contest form, you will have to attached the receipts and drop it at one of the contest boxes available at the airport. This is risky because you will never know whether your entry reaches the organizer. Can you guarantee no forms will be left behind? Are they hardworking enough to fly the entries from Kota Kinabalu and Kuching to Kuala Lumpur for consolidation? What’s worse is that if the contest boxes are accessible, people might just hijack your receipts and join the contest for free, fully sponsored by you.

*Online entry let’s you keep the receipts. However, you will need to present the receipts if you win. If you are willing to take the risk, you can even reuse the receipts for another contest to save some money. Will write about this in my next post.

Good luck! If I happen to be at the airport, I will certainly give it a shot. Too bad I won’t be traveling this year.
